Ativan yes Ativan

Funny how we are programed to take pills when when we are not feeling well. Headaches, infections, colds, anxiety, erectile dysfunction, blood pressure, lack of sleep. Something for everything. You open the jar and they just march right on in.

Bike-Beach-Cape Cod

The first week of August I spent 4 days on the Cape at My friend Jeffs cottage in Eastham. He told me to bring my bike down so we could all go riding to the beach. It was about a 8 minute walk but a 3 minute bike ride. It's very very cool just to get on your bike and be at the beach in a blink of an eye. The first day I was there, 5 of us rode down to the beach and caught the sunset. This was the outcome.
Just want to say thank you to everyone that was at the cottage. If I already know you then you are truly a great person. If I just met you than I'm sure if you are friends with my friends then you are a great person as well. I finally experience the true Cape Cod state of mind. Bathing suite, all day every day.

These are the latest t shirts sightings around town. It's been somewhat slow but I'm sure things will pick up in the fall. Stay tuned...

Art to the 3rd power

Something I did last month when I was in a good mood. I know it's on lined paper but it's better than a drink napkin.
This sticker is not mine but I saw it on the back of a camper on Sandy Neck beach on the Cape. I got to drive out on to the beach in my buddies red truck. If you ask me, driving a truck out onto the beach is the coolest thing ever. I had never done it before so it definitely made my Cape experience a memorable one.

Emergency room visit

On the 3rd of July, I spent the evening in Marshfield with a bunch of good friends. We celebrated Independence day a bit early and it was a drunken fiasco. As I like to do time to time, I spent most of the day bare foot walking back and forth from cottage to beach. The night progressed and so did my drunken state. When I woke up in the morning, both my feet had been injured. One foot had a blister and the other had a splinter. I did my best to remove the splinter, which was some sort of gravel or rock, and clean the wound out to the best of my ability. Two weeks passed and my heel was still somewhat soar and tender. I went to the emergency room and got an ex ray and come to find out that there was still 2 foreign objects lunged in my heel. The podiatrist went to work and this is what happened.
This was the piece of glass that had been in my heel for 2 weeks. Crazy little bugger
This is what my heel looked like after the butcher I mean the doctor sliced away at it with her shank like a crazy soccer mom peeling an orange.

I was told to soak my heel in salt water and keep the wound clean and 3 days later I was good to go. The other foreign object eventually pushed it's way out. The lesson I learned is if your gonna be bare foot, don't step on glass and not remember that you did so.

Summer Sunset

Over the last couple of months I have been gathering some photos of sunsets around the greater Boston area and this is what I have so far.
From the drop top on route 2 in Belmont
From a booze cruise in the Boston harbor over the skyline
In my opinion the best one so far. The beach on lower Cape in Eastham. Just wanted to thank the S and D connection for making my Cape experience a wonderful, unforgettable couple of days.
