Clinton Bush Haiti Fund PSA

I just want to make this obviously clear to just one person. You know who you are (hurryup). If they can do it then so can we. Slick Willy is the man and G-W needs some assistance.

Christopher Walken

In the past, I have written about t shirts that I saw people wearing. This weekend was full of awesome t shirts and not only were they AWESOME, they were extremely creative and witty. The best thing about all these t shirts are that I found them all in the same night.I saw this guy towards the end of the night and I had to snap off a pic because it's Chris Walken, why wouldn't I.This guy was early in the evening. It's a bearded man knocking out a bear. I mean  how cool is that. And lastly, my friend the birthday boy Ben had this one on and it kind of reminded me of the Matrix so I snapped one off. I'll keep them coming if you keep wearing them.

Movie t-shirts

Someone had recently told me about this website where I could get remakes of vintage t-shirts that musician had worn in the past. As I was searching for this website, I came across another website that sold movie quote t-shirts. These are just two prints that kind of jumped out and caught my attention.
The vintage remake website is www.wornfree.com and the movie quote website is www.deezteez.com

Buster McHenry

I got a very random text message the other day and  that text message eventually led me on a wild goose chase. Sometime after, I was told to google something and that google search led me to this photo.  At first I had no idea who this mysterious person was! After further inspection I eventually figured it out.  It was no other than Jack Bauer AKA Kiefer Sutherland. I wanted to make sure it was him so I did another google search and found this photo. Nice flower Jack.As you can see, the tattoos are the same. In any a case, thanks to Jack Bauer we can, once again enjoy another 24 hours of excitement.

Pat's King of Steak

When I went to Philly early this month, I told my self I was going to have a Philly cheese steak. Saturday morning, the day of the wedding, I had some time to kill before I had to get dressed and head on over to the church. A friend of mine from the windy city shared the same desire for a Philly cheese steak as I did so Sev, Anna and I jumped in a car and made our way to Pat's King of Steak. It was about 22 degrees and windy and of course, there was a line around the corner. There is a specific way to order a cheese steak at Pat's. You have to be quick, assertive and you have to know exactly what you want. They have directions posted right outside the ordering window on how to put in your order. They say if you fuck up just keep going and don't stop.Pat's is famous for using cheese whiz on their cheese steak. As you can see they have buckets of it on hand ready to be smothered all over your steak.I ordered mine with onions and whiz, just the way you are suppose to order it, like most Philadelphians do. I have to say, it was by far the best cheese steak I have ever had and that is a bold statement. Although it was freezing and we had to eat our food standing and shivering, it was hella worth it. Directly across the street sits Geno's Steak and they are also known for their cheese steak. They also had a line stretching around the corner. I was told by some local residents that Pat's was the better choice.

Train to Philly

New years day, I had to be on a train and in Philly by 4pm. New years eve I went to sleep around 6am and woke up around 7:20am and was on a train by 8:20 am. I was kinda banged up if you know what I mean. It was however, a beautiful, sunny morning and the train was empty all the way to the NYC stop. It's a 6 hour trip and I slept most of the time. When I got up and realized we were in Jersey and would be at our destination in less than half an hour, I thought a nice, ice cold beer would be a perfect choice. And of course I had no choice but to get a Yuengling lager. Its a Pennsylvania based beer so I figured it would be in good taste to have one. It was cold and refreshing. aahhhhhhhhhh.

FYI...I had to go to Philly because a close and personal friend was getting married on January 2. It was a beautiful wedding and a fun party, thanks for the open bar.

DMC in Harvard Sq.

About 2 weeks ago, I'm at work doing work stuff and two gentlemen walk in. I greet them in an informal way and continue gazing into nothingness. After about 30 seconds of zoning out, I take a closer look at one of the guys and I notice that it's one half of the legendary group RUN DMC. I was pretty excited to meet Darryl "DMC" McDaniels.
He was in town to play a show for the NHL Winter Classic festivities. He bought some track pant and the other guy that was with him (his DJ) bought a DJ bag. He was very chill and real friendly. I like meeting celebs like this because they are not all full of themselves, they are all about the fans.

First Snow

I really enjoy the first snow of the year. I think there is something about it that makes people enjoy being outside. One of my favorite things to do when it snows is gear up and hit the streets. Have a drink or two, get a good team together and just explore the town as the streets are slowly or sometimes even quickly, begin to blanket them selves with a fluffy white element.
This is the visual documentation of my night out during the first snow of the winter. I will try and update everyone on my future snowy excursions as they happen and I have a feeling they are going to happen more and more.
