Talented week passed

Last Wednesday was Tanner Ross birthday celebration at the Phoenix Landing. Now if you know Tanner, you know that he destroyed the decks with some phenomenal beats.

The following day was Calibre at Elements and that was just FUCKING AWESOME. 

It has been a ruff couple of days and I'm pumped that turkey day is around the corner. All I'm gonna do is eat, eat, eat and nap, nap, nap.  EEEEEZZZZZZZ

This past weekend Arin, Chris CoTec, Damian and I trooped it out to NYC to Love for Dub War. Its a monthly dub party that brings out some of the best entertainers in the seen. I had an amazing experience listing to some of the grimiest shit I have herd in a long time. I will be back out there next month. Thanks to Agee for the paparazzi action.

open studios

Went to open studios this past Halloween weekend at the Distillery  in South Boston. Visited some friends and looked at some art. OVERKILL STUDIO is where I spent most of my time. I did however take a nice stroll through the rest of the gallery and saw some fly art.

Dinner at Miracle Of Science is what I like to do at least one of the two weekend nights. Friday nights my pal Nate Brown checks IDs and sometimes pours drinks.

If you have a chance go visit him and have some food.  Try the skewers. I like to go with one steak and one chicken.  That shit is the bomb.

So I was kickin it at the  Proletariat Saturday afternoon. This kid walks in and heads to the skate board area of the shop. He was rockin a Proletariat winter beanie and what seemed to be a vintage flannel. Never the less he had style, so I asked him for a photo opp and he accepted.
This is it, this kid was no more than 13 years old and he was rockin some dope gear and I'm sure his mom did NOT help him put it together. He came back with like 4 more of his boys and they all had the same style. Good shit, I wish I could have taken a picture of the whole crew but that would have been kind of odd. " hey you bunch of 12 and 13 year olds, can I take a picture of you guys ?"

Mythical Creatures

I went to the Museum of Science the other day with a friend  to see the Mythical Creatures exhibit. It was one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time. Unfortunately you're not allowed to take pictures of the exhibit but me being the sneaky fuck bag that I am, I was able to snap off one or two pics. We also saw the Science of Fear exhibit, and that was cool as well. I got to see why I'm not afraid of loud noises and why I'm afraid of spiders.

Who would of thought people are afraid of the dentist and of clowns.......not me.
If you get a chance, head on over to the MOS, the exhibit is open till March 22. It was fun and educational and it took me back to my youth. I really, really enjoyed it.
